David Alao

David Alao is an experienced Investment Manager with extensive experience across
both traditional and alternative asset classes. He has a proven track record in creating
and executing investment products, implementing strategies, managing investment
processes, and building highly effective investment teams.
Before joining Leadway Asset Management Company Limited, where he currently
serves as the CEO, David successfully led the Investment team at Leadway Pensure
PFA, achieving multiple wins. He has also held various leadership roles within the
investment management industry, covering areas such as Sales, Proprietary Trading,
Hedge Fund Management, Alternative Investing, and Fixed Income Investments.
David holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Economics from Coventry University, UK,
and is a member of several professional investment bodies, including the Securities
Institute, UK, and the Professional Risk Managers Association. Prior to returning to
Nigeria, he was a licensed Financial Services Authority professional in the United
Kingdom. David has also completed several executive courses at Wharton Business
School and Columbia Business School in the USA.
