Debashish’s academic endeavors includes a Post Grad Business Management from Institute of Management
Technology, Ghaziabad – one of the premier business management institutes in India. His experience of
over 33 years across the financial services vertical of NBFC to Asset Management to Banking and over the last 23 years in Insurance has helped him in a complete understanding of the Insurance and Investment businesses.
Debashish has been instrumental in many success stories across different companies like ING Asset Management, HSBC, AXA, Generali and others. His insurance prowess was seen in his managing the Life Insurance vertical of SALAMA – the oldest and one of the largest Islamic Insurance companies listed in the
Dubai Stock markets for over 10 years. During this period, he was instrumental in creating new products
for the industry as well as increasing the AUMs multifold.
Aside from his achievements in the professional domain, Debashish has decided to settle in Dubai
along with his beautiful family of three. He loves his Bollywood as well as his Rock music during times of
solace. His love of travelling pulls him to various parts of the globe, and he loves spending these few
moments with his family.
