About
Osahon Okunbo
Osahon Okunbo is a Nigerian entrepreneur, investor, and cultural patron whose portfolio spans energy, hospitality, infrastructure, and the creative economy. He brings over 15 years of board and management experience to enterprises that sit at the heart of Nigeria's economic architecture.
As Executive Director of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL), he has overseen energy projects valued at over $4 billion, with a track record in the Niger Delta widely respected by both industry and host communities. He is also actively involved in the development of the Egbolom field, the largest marginal field in the 2020 marginal field bid round, alongside directorships at Delta Pacific Maritime and Genesis Hydrocarbons Nigeria.
Beyond oil and gas, Okunbo has reshaped Abuja's hospitality landscape as Chairman of the Wells Carlton Hotel, and pioneered Lagos' creative scene as founder of Live! Lounge, the city's first purpose-built comedy and live performance club. Through Vetrinox Capital, he backs emerging opportunities in infrastructure, technology, and the creative economy.
He serves on the board of the National Theatre Lagos, now the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, contributing to the revitalisation of Nigeria's cultural infrastructure. His philanthropic work is channelled through The Osahon Okunbo Foundation, focused on youth empowerment, the arts, and community development in Edo State.
The recipient of the Vanguard Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2025, Osahon Okunbo, is a builder of institutions and a compelling example of the next generation of African wealth creation in action.
