Scott Bryan

Scott Bryan is a Director of Education at Rendeavour. He brings a thorough understanding of the UK independent sector coupled with a wide range of international experience from more than 25 years working in education. Throughout his career he has proven experience of delivering student outcomes and commercial success, both at school and group level. School leadership experience includes Headships in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland, leading some of the highest profile and successful schools. School leadership experience includes Headmaster of Cheltenham College Preparatory School (UK), Vice-Principal GEMS Wellington International School (UAE), Founding Headmaster Le Regent International School (Switzerland) and Principal of Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai (UAE).

Between 2018 and 2024, Mr Bryan was Managing Director of Wellington College International, leading Wellington’s international schools’ business. The role involved working with existing and new partners to support with all aspects of founding new schools (business planning & finance, legal contracts, pre-opening timelines, design & construction, brand development, marketing & admissions, human resources, governance, academics, facilities & services) and working with existing partners to ensure the educational and commercial success of WCI schools, through robust QA and professional consultancy. Mr Bryan delivered continued growth in WCI revenue/profit, number of schools, student numbers and quality of educational provision. In 2024, the WCI family consisted of eight 3-18 schools with 6200 students (6 in China, 1 in Thailand, 1 in India). During Mr Bryan’s leadership new partnerships were signed for India and Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Mr Bryan holds a BSc (Hons) 2:1, PCCE (Secondary) Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Studies.
